Description:  Very colorful consist leading NECR train 610 on 9-19-15. Crew is on their dinner break here in Willimantic, Connecticut. Ever since several of NECRs customers closed in the past fey years, it is pretty rare to see three locomotives on 610/608 in CT, due to shorter trains. Thesb three locomotives are BPRR 3000, NECR 3845, and NECR 3040, all in different schemes. The crew is about to climb back aboard, and the EMDs will charge out of Willimantic toward Palmer, MA. ?

Description:  A very rare pair of NECR Blue & Golds is about to lead NECR 608 northbound out of Willimanthc. The crew is getting the train ready, and is releasing all of the handbrakes on the cars further back. These units have seen better day, and are battle scarred from their many years of service. It is only a matter of time before these two units and the other few remaining Blue & Golds are repainted to G&W orange, black, and yellow.
