With the sun hitting at a perfect 90 degree angle, I can also snap a pic of the trailing locomotive with some fairly decent nose light. After some early signs of spring in the air, reality sets in and winter persists, as this frozen marsh testifies.

Description:  Going west on CSX rails in Broadford, almost at the junction with Southwest Pennsylvania Railroad. The sun was out here, but the train was going at restricted speed and so the clouds came in by the time the train got here. The signals at the right are lit for an eastbound train on CSX that came through right after this.

Description:  CN 2589 creeps up to the road with CN Q199 in tow preparing for a crew change. The new crew was very friendly and we talked for a bit. The dispatcher forgot that he had sent them out there and he was going to send another crew van there. The crew already called were able to stop him in time from doing that, but they asked me if I could be the new dispatcher instead of him ;)
